Another day another dollar

I finally made it to the Washington DC area. Today I'm going to drive around and hopefully not get lost. I'll have to buy a map so that if I get lost I can figure it out. Other than that... I'm in the DC area for another week and a half then it's back to HomeHome then I'm returning to my residence near Washington DC again. I have so much work to do.

On my way here all I did was listen to Hawaiian music since it stabilizes/grounds me. Keeps me in balance. I listened to Tony Conjugacion and the Cazimeros. I need to ask my older brother to burn more Hawaiian music for me.

Anyway tonight I'll be working out and I'll be listening to Hawaiian music while working out *LOL* I also have to order a desktop from Dell because my husband is giving the laptop that I'm using to his older brother so when he gives it away... I won't have a computer in this residence. Well I'll be spending my time wisely while I'm here and hope to get some things done. Oh yeah... I miss Hawai'i! So much so that I will be listening to Na Palapalai's CD. "Ke Ala Beauty:"

"I need to ask my older brother to burn more Hawaiian music for me."

For someone who Loves Hawai'i, it's people and culture as much as you do....don't you think you are doing local artists an injustice by "burning" copies of their music, rather than supporting them by purchasing their cd's.

Even if you aren't living in Hawai'i, there are so many local record companies that offers availability to purchase their artists cds online.

I have purchased my Hawaiian music CDs. I have listen to them so much that I end up ruining them so I end up having to buy two or three copies of each CD so my brother burns the ones that he has so that I can listen to Hawaiian music. So it's not like I dont purchase any.
