"It's good to be proud of one's heritage and healthy to feel strong about preserving cultural aspects. It's easy to jump the gun and point fingers at people when learning about history. The entire point of learning history is to broaden personal understanding as well as teach others about it, which this site does, and well I might add. However, the way to teach a wider audience is to tone down the delivery and make it more inviting to read or hear. Just a suggestion, hope it helps."
This is not the first time someone has told me to "tone it down." It probably won't be the last because I'm pretty hardcore in many ways. That may be why some people want me to "tone it down" but they fail to understand that it's my choice... not theirs.
