He is funny

One of my friends who is Hawaiian too sent an email to me. He recently had family visiting which included some children. It made me laugh because my sister has five children LOL

"Oh, then I had to cook and bake and cook and bake. i dunno how people can have families like your sister! lol It's hard work!

You spend all day in the kitchen! lol And they get hungry and I feel bad althought their mothers' complained about that, but they were hungry, they just wanted to snack on stuff and I know i do that all the time."

Yep and they talk about complex issues. They do not have conversations about typical concepts that children usually talk about. Instead they have convos that are typical of adult conversations LMAO

Really? How intimidating. I had to send back Treyson's workbook b/c he left it behind. He's 9, so dunno what grade that's suppose to be but there was a section about conflict and resolution. WTF? At that age? LOL Shit.

Geez. He's probably in the third grade. What a concept for that age man. So young!

Oh yeah, and this young girl last night, after she responded to the prof. correctly, the teacher said she should respond like that on the exam. THen the girl said she (teacher) should speak to us more. lol Sometimes, it's hard w/ grammar and writing and the Hispanics in class are THE WORSE! lol In fact, out of the five people who got A on their exam, (me one of them lol), only one was a Hispanic. lol

Forgot to say, that's why I told Flavia that on our next mtg., we will take an excursion and will probably do mostly those, to go around the city, etc. and speak. That way, real life situations will come up and I can learn the vocabulary that way, rather than sit and listen to her. Same with Marcos, I'll tell him that I want to do that b/c I cannot just sit down and listen to them talk, and they force me to read "text" and expect me to learn the vocabulary that way. Gotta APPLY that shit in real life situations so you get used to it. Das how little kids learn, you don't teach a 2 year old or a 3 year old how to read words and have them memorize them. lol You apply it in real life.
