More on the Keliipuleole Family

Mahalo for the heads up. An anonymous person posted this:

"Dear Lana (haolegirl)

Check out the Keliipuleole documentary and talk show on TV...

Native TV (Olelo)

This Friday, October 13th

Times: 5:30 pm & 8:00 pm Hawaii Standard Time

which is 11:30 pm and 2 a.m. Eastern Standard Time

My naau still tells me that there is something wrong with the picture and that Shelly will come out and bring things in the light.

Why do some people have a problem with others discussing Eleonor?

If and when people talk stink about me... I NO KEA. Who cares what people say about me? If I know they wrong... no mattah to me.

But in Shakespeare, "He doth protest too much." Shows some guilt.

In any case I know a couple of Keliipuleole who attended the Kamehameha Schools. They were nothing but kind to me so I know this is an aberration. My naau tells me it's a power thing and now that now that it's in the light... some people attack because they are afraid that other people are seeing their truth colors.

I'm sorry but at Kamehameha Schools which is my ALMA MATER we take a vow upon graduation to help NOT HURT other Hawaiians. Thus my point... You do not under ANY circumstances kick out another Hawaiian or even your own flesh and blood. Even our ancestors had a Puuhonua. A city of refuge so I am glad that people are talking because sometimes that is the only way for some people to be exposed.

In any case... like I've stated before... if and when people talk stink about me... I no kea but since there is so much protesting going on... it's suspicious but stay tuned to Olelo TV to watch the discussion or hooponopono this Friday at 5:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m.

That's Hawaii Standard Time which is translated to 11:30 pm and 2 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Don't miss it! Because I certainly wont.

what (as a total non Hawaiian ) I see wrong with this is that there is no screening. My experiences with Hawaiian culture has taught me to appreciate and value the history. this seems to totally open the door to anyone. I am Scottish. I am not Hawaiian but belong to a Halou. I am very afraid of anything that makes a mass product of a culture no matter what the culture.

Yeah... I like reading about other people's history too. I find it interesting and at times helpful in understanding the present.

I watched both programs. I thought they were very informative. Very interesting to see how this all plays out. I hope Irwin's true intent for the land and his children are honored in the end. My heart goes out to all of the Keliipuleole Ohana.

I felt bad for Shelly when she was talking about her father but even while this is going on she still carries herself well. Im glad Maoli Media videotaped her and her ohana.
