Thanks to my cousin Paul DeSilva (THE retired judge in Hilo) for confirming that I am a mo'opuna (grandchild) of Augusto Dias on my DeSilva Side (one of many): His name is Augusto Dias and in 2003 was inducted into the Ukulele Hall of Fame. He is my great great grandfather which is pretty cool *LOL*
My great grandmother, Luisa, on my Portuguese side was his great granddaughter :) She married a DeSilva, Ernesto DeSilva. Some people in Hawai'i may know of Kihei DeSilva and Paul DeSilva. They are my cousins. They are his grandchildren too :)
Self-defense: I am Hawaiian and I have long one-length dark blondish hair. I am a member of the National Rifle Association. I also study shuri te and have been for the last nine years. I have also taught children shuri te and love it. Unfortunately many women and children (irrelevant of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, etc) are preyed upon. We can protect ourselves. Anyway don't let the assholes in this world get you down! :)

I am Hawaiian. Therefore at times I write about Hawaiians. There are only 401,062 or so Hawaiians left in this world. We account for about .1% of the total U.S. population while Caucasians account for approximately 74% of the total U.S. population so you have an idea how many of us there are.

One of the most beautiful women in this world if not THE most beautiful, Princess Ruth Keelikolani, granddaughter of King Kamehameha:
One of the most beautiful women in the world, Princess Ruth Keelikolani, who bequeathed her land to her cousin, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop (see below), who in turn bequeathed the land to help Hawaiian children. Both are truly beautiful women because if it wasn't for them Hawaiian children would not be surviving so to me they epitomize "beauty" :)
Ke Ali'i Pauahi also Known as "Bernice Pauahi Bishop:"
 Many Hawaiians admire this lady, Bernice Pauahi Bishop, who is the founder of Kamehameha Schools. She married a haole man, Charles Reed Bishop. See www.ksbe.edu for more information. It is the only school for Hawaiian children similar to schools for native Americans.
