Chi Chi Rodriguez

Seen at http://starbulletin.com/2000/08/09/sports/hawaiibeat.html

Very few people know that retired golf professional Chi Chi Rodriguez is married to a Hawaiian lady named Iwalani (Lum-King.) They have a house on Hawaiian Home Land in Waimanalo on O'ahu. Unfortunately I cannot find a picture of her but I have seen their house in Waimanalo. My grand uncle and grand aunt live nearby. That's how I know LOL

Well he has the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, Inc. which is pretty cool:

"Chi Chi's foundation is home to troubled and abused youngsters. Chi Chi's philosophy is simple, he wants kids to have a chance. "I figure kids are the future. If I made it, anybody can do it. I think I can be a good role model for them because they can look at me and say, "look, he's a small guy, he was very poor, and he worked hard and he made it. If I can help one kid become successful in life because they want to be the way I was, that's all I ask for."

Anyway will be gone for the weekend. Somewhere in Virginia. Hope that everyone has a wonderful, safe weekend especially those soldiers (past and present) in the states and abroad who help preserve my right to bitch, moan, rant, and rave online and offline. Mahalo.
